To establish a successful store chain is a great aim. To operate and manage it well can be the next great aim. In the meantime, however, something starts to be missing from the plans and their implementation, and we may not feel fully satisfied. Then opportunities open up to help others, and suddenly the happiness caused by success becomes total. It is a truly beautiful and noble task to help and support children and sports, to instill the love to play into those who may have had no more than a distant relationship with sports so far. If we can take part in other people’s successes, or we can make their lives better and healthier, it inspires us to provide even more support and help.

The Kanyon Raft Team is a young team. Since they were established in 2003 they have achieved more and more outstanding results at international competitions. Due to the lack of domestic rafting locations and facilities, they are forced to make tremendous efforts to be able to prepare for races, by financially overburdening themselves as well as the few sponsors they have. With the help of Játéksziget and other supporters, they could compete in the 2007 Rafting World Championship held in South Korea where they achieved admirable success. The European Rafting Championship organized inWildalpen, Austria, brought unparalled success in the life of the team. The result of the European Championship surpassed all expectations for Hungarians: besides winning two silver medals, the members of the Kanyon Raft Team won one of the first six places on nine occasions altogether! It is our pleasure that we have been able to contribute to this success. At the pre-event for the World Rafting Championship held in Bosnia-Herzegovina, they won a bronze medal in the down river event, achieved fourth place in sprint, and obtained a silver medal in the head to head event. Following the race, the team received a state award.

The MIZO Pécs 2010 Women’s Basketball Team has a glorious past. This deservedly world-famous team is a worthy successor to the original PVSK women’s team. Since the opening of Játéksziget Pécs,we have not only been enthusiastic fans but also supporters of the girls who achieved international success by playing basketball. As a result of cooperation between us and the team, our customers can buy tickets in the Játéksziget Pécs toy store for the games in which the multiple Hungarian champions play, and during the breaks it is our task to entertain the children cheering for the team with short and playful competitions!
